Hi,
My French writing is not very good so i hope it's ok for me to write in English, you can write me back in French i can understand it ok.
We installed solar panels a few months back and i'm having some problems with the ENEDIS meter.
We have a 3 phase 15kva connection with edf.
We have an auto conso contract with ENEDIS
ENEDIS replaced our meter with a Sagem S20C1 meter.
Our solar panels are connected to a single phase.
My solar inverter is a SMA Sunnyboy 3.0 with and SMA E-meter installed for measuring.
My problem is with usage counting on the enedis meter.
When my solar portal tells me i use about 2kwh this day my enedis meter tells me i use about 12kwh the same day.
It looks like the enedis meter is only substracting the generated energy from 1 phase, not from the total.
For example:
Usage:
L1 500w
L2 500w
L3 500w
Generation:
L3 1000w
According to the solar portal my usage is 500w
But if i look at the enedis meter it is tell me i have 1000w usage.
Can anyone tell me is my enedis meter is broken?
Or can anyone tell me how the calculation of the usage is done by enedis?
Thanks
Peter

Enedis Energy meter is not broken. It work properly
It work phase per phase and not on the total. If you generate more than consomme on phase 3, the excedent is freely donated to the network
An autoconso system with 3 kWc of solar panels is an non sense because you cannot have a ROI positive

Re: kWh calculation Enedis meter (Sagem S20C1)
Seems to me that its strange that i’m beeing punished for having 3 phase connection. A single phase 35a would not have this problem.
Other eu country’s calculate on total.
(To make it fair between 3 phase and single phase connection)
What are my options?
1. replace inverter with a 3 phase model?
2. change edf auto conso contract?
3. change phase of current inverter to most-used phase (optimization)

In what country? Energy meters are very similar around the WorldOther eu country’s calculate on total.

There are no inverter 3 phases for this power range
What are my options?
1. replace inverter with a 3 phase model?
It is a little bit complexe, it seems the best solution, but the equipment must be new (never used before)2. change edf auto conso contract?
It is the most simple3. change phase of current inverter to most-used phase (optimization)
Re: kWh calculation Enedis meter (Sagem S20C1)
It was my understanding from other topics that the meter was summarizing all phases in and out to determine the consumption, and not calculating phase by phase.

I was under the same impression, it would not be fair play between single phase and multi phase other ways.
I think i have to call ENEDIS to verify the workings of the calculation formula

Re: kWh calculation Enedis meter (Sagem S20C1)
I have done tests with old electronic Energy meter (CBE class = not Linky) 3 phases. The calculation is done phase per phase then it summarise each phase result.
But with new electronic energy meter (Linky class) 3 phases, there are six individuals partials index (3 for consommation, 3 for generated), then it summarised on 2 index (1 for consommation, & for generated)

Yes, so to illustrate i think we have these options (only valid for auto conso):

Now only to find the truth.
Don't you think it would be even more strange if EDF used two methods on different Meters?
